Roblox Studio plugin · for $BLOX holders

Build Roblox worlds by typing.

Tell Blox Terminal what you want — "a neighborhood with 8 houses", "an obby that gets harder", "make it night" — and it builds it right inside Roblox Studio. No scripting, no dev experience.

What it does

You describe it. It builds it.

Blox Terminal lives as a panel inside Roblox Studio. Type an idea in plain English and an AI plans the layout, then places real, editable parts in your game.

Plain-English prompts

No code, no menus. Say what you want like you'd tell a friend, then follow up: "add a park next to it", "make the houses blue".

Real, editable parts

Everything lands in your Explorer, neatly grouped — Houses, Roads, Trees. Move, recolor or delete any piece by hand afterwards.

Version history

Every build is saved as a version with a summary of what changed. Don't like it? Restore any earlier version in one click.

How it works

Three pieces, one click.

The download has a Studio plugin and a tiny helper app. The helper runs on your PC and talks to Claude, the AI that designs your build.

01 · STUDIO PLUGIN

You type a prompt

The Blox Terminal panel sends your idea plus a summary of what's already in your place.

→
02 · HELPER ON YOUR PC

The AI plans it

Claude designs a layout from ready-made building blocks, so results come out clean and consistent.

→
03 · BACK IN STUDIO

It appears

The plugin places every piece, frames the camera on it and saves a version you can roll back to.

Setup guide

From zero to your first build.

Follow these in order. Steps marked ONE TIME you only ever do once.

1

Connect your wallet and download ONE TIME

Blox Terminal is for $BLOX holders. You'll need a Phantom or Solflare wallet holding $BLOX.

  1. Click the button below (or Connect wallet in the top right) and pick Phantom or Solflare.
  2. Your wallet asks you to sign a message. This proves the wallet is yours. It's free and doesn't send any transaction.
  3. If your wallet holds $BLOX, BloxTerminal.zip downloads automatically.
  4. Open your Downloads folder, right-click the zip and choose Extract All → Extract.
  5. You'll get a BloxTerminal folder. Move it somewhere easy to find, like your Desktop.
2

Install Node.js ONE TIME

Node.js is the free program that runs the Blox Terminal helper on your PC.

  1. Go to nodejs.org and download the LTS version.
  2. Run the installer and click Next through every screen. The defaults are fine.
3

Get your Claude API key ONE TIME

The key lets Blox Terminal use Claude to design your builds. You pay Anthropic directly for what you use.

  1. Go to console.anthropic.com and create an account or sign in.
  2. Open Billing and add a few dollars of credit. The key won't work without credit.
  3. Open API Keys and click Create Key. Name it anything, like "Blox Terminal".
  4. Click Copy on the popup right away. It's only shown once.
✓ sk-ant-api03-Xk2…(long)…   ← the real key, starts with sk-ant-
apikey_017fZjjk…   ← that's just the key's ID, it won't work
Treat your key like a password. Never post it in Discord, a chat or a screenshot — anyone with it can spend your credit.
4

Paste the key into Blox Terminal ONE TIME

  1. Open BloxTerminal → server and double-click apikey.txt. It opens in Notepad.
  2. Delete the placeholder text, paste your key, and press Ctrl + S to save.
Your key stays on your computer. It's only ever sent to Anthropic.
5

Start the helper

  1. In the BloxTerminal folder, double-click start.bat.
  2. A black window opens and says "Blox Terminal server is running". Leave it open while you build.
  3. If a blue "Windows protected your PC" box appears, click More info → Run anyway.
6

Install the plugin in Roblox Studio ONE TIME

  1. Open Roblox Studio and any place.
  2. Click the Plugins tab at the top, then Plugins Folder. A folder opens.
  3. Copy BloxTerminal.lua from your BloxTerminal folder into it.
  4. Close Studio completely, then reopen your place.

Heads up: the Manage Plugins window only lists Marketplace plugins, so Blox Terminal won't show there. That's normal — look for its button in the Plugins tab instead.

7

Build something

  1. Plugins tab → click Blox Terminal. A panel opens on the right.
  2. If Studio asks to let the plugin connect to localhost, click Allow.
  3. The panel should say "Connected." in green.
  4. Click Neighborhood (or type your own idea) and press Build. Big builds take 30–90 seconds.
Every time after that: 1. double-click start.bat 2. open Studio and use the panel
Using it

Prompts to try.

The more specific you are about amounts and style, the better the result. Build big ideas in steps.

Build a cozy neighborhood with 8 pastel houses, a road grid, trees and streetlights
Add a park east of the houses with a pond, benches and a playground
Build a beginner obby with 15 platforms that get harder and lava kill bricks
Make all the houses two stories and give them red roofs
Build a small town square with a fountain and 4 shops around it
Make it night time

Undo anything

Press Ctrl + Z to undo the last build, or Clear AI builds to wipe everything it made.

History tab

See every build with a summary of what the AI did. Hit Restore to jump back to any version.

It remembers

Follow-ups build on what's already there, so you can grow one idea into a full map one prompt at a time.

Help

Troubleshooting.

The panel shows a message when something's off. Here's what each one means.

"Can't reach the Blox Terminal server"

The helper isn't running. Double-click start.bat in your BloxTerminal folder and keep that black window open.

"Studio is blocking web requests"

In Studio go to Home → Game Settings → Security, turn on Allow HTTP Requests, then press Build again.

"Claude API error: invalid x-api-key"

The key in apikey.txt isn't right. Make sure it's the long key starting with sk-ant- (not the short key ID), then close and reopen start.bat — it only reads the key when it starts.

"Your credit balance is too low"

Add credit under Billing at console.anthropic.com. No restart needed.

I can't find the Blox Terminal button

Fully close Studio and reopen it. If it's still missing, open the Plugins Folder, turn on View → File name extensions in File Explorer, and make sure the file is named exactly BloxTerminal.lua (not BloxTerminal.lua.txt).

I can't see the Build button

The panel is too short. Scroll inside it, drag it taller, or click the pop-out icon in its title bar to make it a floating window.

"That build was too big"

Split the request up. Ask for the roads and houses first, then the park, then the shops.

How do I get access?

Hold any amount of $BLOX in a Phantom or Solflare wallet, click Connect wallet, and sign the message. The site checks your balance and starts the download. Signing is free and never moves funds.

"This wallet doesn't hold any $BLOX"

Make sure you connected the wallet that actually holds the tokens. If you just bought, wait a minute for the purchase to confirm, then try again.

Connecting on a phone

Phone browsers can't see wallet apps directly. Tap Connect wallet and choose Phantom or Solflare: the site reopens inside the wallet's built-in browser, where you can connect. The plugin itself still needs a Windows PC with Roblox Studio.

Can I try it without an API key?

Yes — run start-demo.bat instead of start.bat. Build will place a sample street so you can check everything's connected.

Does it work on Mac?

The plugin works anywhere Studio runs. On Mac, skip start.bat and instead open Terminal in the BloxTerminal/server folder and run node server.js.

Your next map is one prompt away.

Neighborhoods, race tracks, obbies, whole towns. If you can describe it, Blox Terminal can build it. Unlocked for $BLOX holders. Connect your wallet, bring your own Claude API key.
